Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor

Alyssa Twigg is a compassionate and experienced therapist with over 12 years of experience in the mental health and addiction treatment fields. She holds both a Master’s in Social Work from NYU and dual licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC). Throughout her career, Alyssa has worked in a variety of settings, including both inpatient and outpatient programs, where she has held leadership roles and gained a well-rounded understanding of the complexities of mental health and substance use disorders.

Alyssa is deeply passionate about helping individuals navigate their personal challenges and find healing, growth, and empowerment. She specializes in providing individualized care to clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and life transitions. By using a strengths-based, client-centered approach, Alyssa creates a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore their concerns and develop meaningful strategies for lasting change.

After years of working in multidisciplinary teams and honing her therapeutic skills, Alyssa is excited to have her own private practice. She is committed to providing clients with the highest level of care and fostering a safe, collaborative space for healing.
